Danna Greenberg

About Me

Hello! My name is Danna (pronounced Donna). I’m a backend software engineer based in Seattle.

I enjoy working on systems- thinking about resiliency, scale and building things that people use.

Most recently, I spent 3 years working at Galileo Financial Technologies. There, I worked on Python services, on a payments platform. The most interesting part of the job was the rapid modernization and growth- seeing how old code can be migrated to modern infrastructure, scaled and improved.

Before that, I worked at Amazon Go, on a Java team. The team had friendly people, lots of mentorship and high engineering standards, which made it a great place to start a career.

Outside of work, I do a lot of rock climbing, mountaineering and backpacking. I just spent a few months traveling through Australia and SE Asia and am now looking for another software engineering job, with a preference for hybrid or in-person roles.
